E-commerce website development built around the checkout, not around the homepage

Online stores built to sell, from catalogue and checkout to payments, shipping, and the reporting that tells you what is actually working.

Starting at ₹45,000 per store build · plus taxes as applicable

What’s included

  • Platform recommendation based on your catalogue and margins, with the running cost of each option stated before you commit, not after.
  • Catalogue build: products, variants, options, stock, and the category structure customers actually browse by.
  • Checkout and payments: gateway integration, tax configuration, and a checkout stripped of the steps that lose sales.
  • Shipping and fulfilment: zones, rates, and courier or logistics integration where you use one.
  • Search-ready product pages: clean URLs, product schema, fast loads. Speed is a conversion factor on a store, not just a ranking one. See how to improve website loading speed.
  • Analytics and reporting wired up at launch so you can see what sells and where the drop-off is, from the first day rather than the first quarter.
  • Migration from an existing store, with redirects mapped so existing rankings and links carry over.

How the work runs

  1. A conversation about the catalogue, the margins, and how customers currently buy from you.
  2. A platform recommendation with the running cost stated, and a proposed structure for the catalogue.
  3. Build and review in stages, with the checkout tested against real transactions before launch.
  4. Launch with payments, tax, shipping, and analytics live and verified, not scheduled for afterwards.
  5. Post-launch support, on request or on a care plan.

Where e-commerce sits alongside the rest

A store is one of several kinds of site a business might need, and it is the most expensive to get wrong. If you are not sure a full store is what you need, the 13 types of websites covers the alternatives. If you already have a store that underperforms, the problem is more often the checkout and the product pages than the design, which is the case we make in traffic but no leads. Our general website design and development practice covers everything that is not a store.

Pricing approach

Every store is scoped and quoted individually on catalogue size, integrations, and how much of the buying flow is custom. Get a quote on request. The number on it is the number you pay. Taxes appear on the quote itself and are never added afterwards. All prices are plus taxes as applicable. Platform subscriptions and payment gateway fees are billed to you by those providers directly, and we tell you what they come to before you commit. For market context, see how much an e-commerce website costs.

How it looks in practice

Work you can point to

Every engagement is scoped to how your business actually runs, and the same people stay on it from the first call through launch and after.

Frequently asked questions

Which platform should I sell on?
It depends on catalogue size, how custom the buying process is, and whether you need to own the stack. Hosted platforms get you live fastest and charge a monthly fee plus, in some cases, a cut of sales. A custom build costs more upfront and nothing per sale. We recommend one platform for your case with the tradeoff stated, rather than handing you a comparison table to decide from.
How much does an e-commerce website cost?
It varies with catalogue size, the number of integrations, and how much of the buying flow is custom. We break the bands down in how much an e-commerce website costs, and quote your project specifically once we know the scope.
Can you migrate my existing store?
Yes. Migration covers products, variants, customers, orders, and, critically, the URL structure, so the rankings and links you already have survive the move. Redirects are mapped before anything goes live, not patched afterwards.
Which payment gateways do you integrate?
We integrate the gateway that suits where your customers are and what you sell, covering cards, UPI and netbanking for Indian stores, and international gateways for cross-border selling. Gateway fees are charged by the provider directly to you, not through us.
Will the store rank in search?
Product and category pages are built to be indexable, with clean URLs, product schema, and page speed treated as a requirement rather than a later fix. Ranking for competitive product terms still takes ongoing SEO work, which we offer separately.
What about GST, invoices, and shipping?
Tax rates, invoice formats, and shipping rules are configured as part of the build, including GST handling for Indian stores and zone-based shipping rates. If you use a courier aggregator or a third-party logistics provider, we integrate it.
Do I need ongoing support after launch?
A store is not a brochure site; it has payments, stock, and a checkout that must not break. We offer care plans covering monitoring, updates, and fixes on a set retainer. You can also take the store and run it yourself. It is yours either way.
